Thanks to the generous and ongoing support of Anne Safranyos and family, we're excited to announce that Family Fun Saturdays in the Studio is back at AWE! Join featured artist Daniela Gaie in the studio and create your own masterpieces!
Join us in the studio and learn new techniques, from macramé to video mapping! Contribute to a collective macramé installation and your own macramé projects.
What is macramé? Discover this art-making technique and create a macramé bracelet using basic knots and combinations.
Create a colourful macramé pattern and explore different designs and colours!
Work collaboratively to create a macramé piece and experiment with photography and video recording.
Discover new technologies and techniques! Create new works of art inspired by technology and macramé.
This week, it all comes together! Contribute to the macramé installation that will be used as a background for a collaborative video mapping project.
To Participate:
- All participants MUST pre-register online. Drop-in between 1-4pm on Saturdays.
- This program is free with admission to AWE and open to all.
- Familiarize yourself with the AWE Code of Conduct.
