Meaningful public art can showcase the spirit of a city. Turning a city space into a creative space - whether through murals, sculptures, signs, or more - can add extra vibrancy to spaces that would otherwise be passed by.

But if community members don’t connect with their city’s public art, should it even exist? Who should decide on where the art goes, and what gets displayed? And who should be kept in mind when public art is being installed in a city?

On Thursday, December 2nd, from 7:00pm - 8:15pm over Zoom, join us for the community conversation Drawing the Line: Creative Spaces and Places. We encourage engagement and respectful, curious questions about the topic of this conversation. Attendees are further encouraged to read our code of conduct for more information about the norms of engagement for our panel discussion. We look forward to welcoming our community into this conversation!
